You have not provided any detail about your modem like brand, model number etc. Connect your modem using to your computer, ethernet port to ethernet port. First you reset the modem by pressing the tiny on at the back for few seconds. Then open a browser and type in a href="http://192.168.1.1," rel="nofollow"http://192.168.1.1,/a in the address bar, which is the default LAN IP address of your modem. Use user ID admin and pword admin. These are normally the default values. Click on home and run the wizard. The internet connection will be OK.
