HELP! how do i fix the print spooler service?

i have a HUGE project due tomorrow but i can't print anything! whenever i try to it says that i have to add a printer and when i go to do it, it says "Operation could not be completed. The print spooler service is not running." i went to administrative tools & made sure it's on automatic & clicked start. On the thing it says it's started but when i go to print, it does the same thing over again. I also went to run & CMD & then typed net spooler service or something like that. PLEASE HELP ME! This is a really big part of my grade..
