I wanted to try weed for once, and next thing I know my doctor needs a blood test for my tonsils.. F**ked?

I am a 16-year-old. I wanted to try weed for the first time of my life since I'm not going anywhere home alone with friends over summer break. Two days later, I go to the doctor because my tonsils have been EXTREMELY swollen for the past 4 months straight. He said that they need to be removed because they are releasing poison into my body and heart. But.. he said he needs me to get a blood test to see what the reason is before he does anything. My parents won't let me remove them without getting the blood test. He said I have to get him the results before the end of the week because he made me an appointment with a professional. Am I f**ked over now?? Would they check for stuff like that??
