Why would she pull this stunt ?

Ok long story short meet this girl in my college got to know each other i like her the last time we hung out i was gonna kiss her..i wound up asking her if i could kiss her (she just got out of a relationship about a month ago and she might even get back together with this guy) so i figured if i tried to "seal the deal" then she would be my women and permanetly leave her ex anyways so she told me "im still getting over my ex and am not ready for a relationship" so we got to talking and stuff and i asked her if she was attracted to me and she was i also asked her if she saw something with us happening in the future she said mabey i also admitted to her that i liked her and thought she was cute. Now im man i dont play games i usually dont tell a girl i like her and stuff till we have kissed and kind of gotten physical because i dont wanna scare her away well in this senario i might of F@#$ked up i thought that if i told her how i was feelin then that would help but idk now because today we were supposed to get together and go up to the golf range and stuff we texted each other yesterday and set up plans for today everything seemed fine i called her today and even texted her got NO RESPONSE BACK to be honest im pissed...i mean dang i kinda was starting to like this girl another thing that could be a problem is that we were supposed to go on a cl field trip together but take our own vehicles we were gonna take mine ovcourse but anyways thats not till later in the week and now that she just pulled this stunt today idk if were go to the field trip thing together my question is did i screw up telling her i like her mabey too soon? and what should i do about the field trip? ill probably text her before we have cl again in the week and ask her if she still wants to go to be honest this just down right sucks please give me some honest advice here im kinda between a rock and a hard place thanks!
