Help! Internet Ping is too high!?

i have a gateway FX with i7 8gb RAM the works )$1300 computer ( im on a network with one other computer 20 gb download she gets 27 ms i get over 500 every time . i use speedtest.net to test. ive even used cmd and pinged some sites including facebook.com yahoo.com both were acceptable pings 27-80 this computer has had great connections before. also im on fios internet and i use bitdefender as my antivirus /security. please help me resolve this issue.
