Modern combat 2 is broken?

ok I love to play modern combat 2 on my iphone but now it's forcing me to play solo. I don't mean internet is down if I press any on but solo or resume solo it will highlight the on but not acnolidge (can't spell that word could someone also tell me that). Is there a way to fix this or am I f**ked
