Sims2.ea.com not working?

Hi, I keep on trying to get on the website www.sims2.ea.com but every time I try to connect to it it just takes forever to load and then finally says "Sims2.ea.com is taking too long to respond." It's really annoying so please help? I already went to CMD (command prompt) and typed ping www.sims2.ea.com and it is pinging perfectly a.k.a meaning I can connect to it...is there something wrong with my browser or is it not working for you guys either?
