What is the best way to transfer >50 GB of Memory from one computer to another?

I own an Acer Netbook, but I'm getting a new laptop in the mail soon. I'm planning on transferring all of my data and giving the netbook to my dad as a late father's day gift. What is the cheapest, easiest way of doing that?
